This is intentional — streaks measure consistency. Missing a day resets to zero, but your best streak and completion rate remain. Start fresh and focus on the long-term percentage.
Habit data lost after clearing browser

Habits are stored in localStorage. Export your data regularly (Settings > Export) if you want a backup, or avoid clearing browser data.

How are streaks calculated?
A streak counts consecutive days where a habit was completed. If you miss a day, the streak resets to zero. Your "best streak" records your longest run, and completion rate shows overall consistency.
Is my data private?
Yes, all habit data is stored locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server or shared with third parties.
Can I track habits multiple times per day?
Currently, habits are marked complete once per day. For habits like "drink 8 glasses of water," consider the habit complete when you've met your daily target.
What if I want to track a habit only on weekdays?
The tracker counts any day you complete the habit. If you only aim for weekdays, your completion rate will reflect weekends as missed days — adjust your expectations accordingly.
How do I edit or delete a habit?
Click the settings icon next to any habit to edit its name, color, or icon. To delete, scroll to the bottom of the settings panel and click "Delete Habit."
Can I view past months or years of data?
Yes, use the calendar view to navigate backward through time. The heatmap shows your complete history as long as you haven't cleared browser data.
How many habits can I track?
There is no limit. You can track as many habits as you want, though we recommend starting with 3-5 to avoid overwhelm.
Can I export my habit data?
Yes, go to Settings > Export Data to download a CSV file with all habits, completion dates, streaks, and notes.
