What rotation angles are available?

Three angles are supported: 90° clockwise, 180° (upside down), and 270° clockwise (equivalent to 90° counter-clockwise). All angles are applied in the clockwise direction.

Can I rotate a scanned PDF?

Yes. Scanned PDFs consist of image pages embedded in a PDF container. Rotation updates the page orientation flag in the PDF structure, and the scanned images display correctly in any PDF viewer after rotation.

Does rotation affect text searchability?

The embedded text layer and font data are not modified. Most PDF viewers display searchable text relative to the page orientation, so text should remain searchable after rotation.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

No. The PDF must be unlocked before any modifications can be applied. Use the Unlock PDF tool first, then rotate the resulting unprotected file.

What is the difference between rotating odd and even pages?

When a document is scanned double-sided with an automatic feeder, every other page is sometimes captured upside-down. Rotating only odd or even pages corrects the alternating orientation without affecting the correctly-oriented pages.

Will the file size change after rotation?

Rotation adds only a few bytes of orientation metadata to each page. The output file size is virtually identical to the original — no re-encoding occurs.
