What are SMART goals?

SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. This framework transforms vague wishes into concrete objectives you can actually achieve.

How do I break a goal into milestones?

Identify key checkpoints along the way. For a $10,000 savings goal, milestones could be every $2,000 saved. For a book, milestones could be chapter completions.

Can I edit a goal after creating it?

Yes, click the settings icon on any goal to edit the title, description, target value, deadline, or milestones. Changes are saved automatically.

What happens when I complete a goal?

The goal is marked as complete with a celebration message. It moves to the "Completed" section. You can archive it or keep it visible for motivation.

Can I delete or archive goals?

Yes, you can delete goals permanently or archive them to hide from the active view while preserving the history.

How many goals can I track?

There is no limit. However, we recommend focusing on 3-5 active goals at once to avoid spreading yourself too thin.

Can I set recurring goals?

Currently, goals are one-time objectives. For recurring goals, duplicate a completed goal and reset the progress, or create a new goal for each period.

Is my goal data private?

Yes, all goal data is stored locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to any server or shared with third parties.
