What is the Eisenhower Matrix?

A decision-making framework that categorizes tasks by urgency and importance into four quadrants: Do First (urgent+important), Schedule (not urgent+important), Delegate (urgent+not important), and Eliminate (not urgent+not important).

How do I know if a task is urgent or important?

Urgent tasks demand immediate attention and have consequences if delayed (deadlines, crises). Important tasks contribute to long-term goals, values, and mission (planning, relationships, self-improvement).

What belongs in the "Eliminate" quadrant?

Tasks that are neither urgent nor important: mindless social media, excessive TV, busywork that doesn't move goals forward, meetings without clear purpose.

Can I edit tasks after adding them?

Yes, double-click any task to edit its text. Changes are saved automatically.

How do I move tasks between quadrants?

Drag and drop any task to a different quadrant, or use the move arrows on each task card.
