Does it count words in other languages?
Yes, the tool counts words by splitting on whitespace, so it works for any language that uses spaces between words. Languages like Chinese and Japanese that do not use spaces will show accurate character counts but word counts will not be meaningful.

There is no imposed limit — you can paste very long documents and the statistics will update. Very large texts (hundreds of thousands of words) may cause a brief delay on slower devices.
What counts as a sentence?

What is the difference between characters with and without spaces?
