What is the difference between grayscale and reducing saturation?

Grayscale at 100% removes all color information completely. Reducing saturation to 0% achieves a similar look but through a different color-math path — the results are nearly identical.

Can I use this tool to convert a photo to black and white?

Yes. Set the Grayscale slider to 100% and click Apply Filters. You can also boost contrast slightly to make the black and white conversion more dramatic.

How many filters can I stack at once?

All seven filters work simultaneously. Stack brightness, contrast, sepia, blur, and hue rotation in a single render.

Is there a way to save my filter settings for later?

Not currently. Note your slider values before downloading — you can re-enter them for future images.
